Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst - Coop/Intern
Iron Mountain’s Global Business Services (GBS) group is hiring a PMO Analyst - Coop/Intern. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced organization whose mission is to be a trusted strategic partner to our internal and external customers through optimization, standardization, and enterprise capabilities.
The PMO analyst will collaborate with the PMO team to drive efficiencies in our Project Management Office. You will closely collaborate with our team to drive maturity in our process, tools, governance and insights.
The PMO analyst is responsible for upholding the quality of project delivery, governance, tools and artifacts that ensures the business outcomes are met through project execution.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementing project management strategies based on templates and toolsets.
Ensuring project parameters meet clients' agreed-upon needs and expectations.
Monitoring existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion.
Gathering and analyzing project data to identify weaknesses and resolve time-related or budgetary snags.
Liaising with project team members and providing suggestions or solutions to unforeseen issues when needed.
Preparing project status reports for management review.
Ensuring all project strategies comply with company standards when applicable.
SME for our project management tools and suggest improvement where possible
Support our PMO internal site and drive updates where possible.
Supporting our vendor management process internally to follow up with external partners
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Knowledge of project management strategies, processes, and tools.
Ability to analyze complex data and make decisions based on analytical findings.
Able to adapt to utilizing software tools (Google, Monday.com)
Strong program coordination and administration abilities.
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
Educational Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expectation that the degree will be obtained by July 2027 or earlier
Must be enrolled in a Canadian college/university during the course of the co-op/ internship
Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or similar field
